Business Licensing, Business Start-up/Preplanning, FR 500
The General Business Bootcamp comprises two complimentary sessions aimed at providing comprehensive training on the regulatory procedures administered by the Department of Licensing and Consumer Protection, and it's entirely free of charge.
During the initial session, participants will receive a broad introduction to the regulatory processes. Upon returning for the second session, attendees are required to possess:
- Corporate Registration/Trade Name Registration (Not Applicable) for LLCs or Sole Proprietors.
- Registration with the Internal Revenue Service and DC Tax and Revenue, including an EIN, FR500, and Clean Hands Certification.
The second session will delve into the specifics of applying for a General Business License. By the conclusion of this dual-part training, attendees who have submitted the requisite documentation and paid the applicable fees to obtain their General Business License.
Attendance at both sessions is mandatory. The first session will focus on imparting information, while the second session will concentrate on processing (attendees should bring all necessary documents and ensure fees are paid).
