The District’s CorpOnline system is getting a major upgrade to improve how businesses file and manage corporate registrations.

Here's a quick overview of what’s changing: 

Transition (Dec 3-5) & System Launch (Dec 8)

• New system goes live: December 8, 2025 
• Current system offline: After close of business on December 2 
• In-person filing available: December 3–5 at 1100 4th St., S.W. 
• No expedited filings during the transition period 

All Filings Now Online 

• 100% of corporate registration filings can now be completed online — including mergers and conversions 
• Save and return to filings anytime  Available
• 24/7 via 

Access to Records 

• Entity filing history will transfer and be publicly accessible 
• All documents previously filed online remain available for download 
• No need to re-file anything already submitted 

Accounts & Payments 

• Use your existing Access DC account 
• Manage multiple entities from one login 
• Pay online with credit card or e-check and receive instant receipts
