The District’s CorpOnline system is getting a major upgrade to improve how businesses file and manage corporate registrations.
Here's a quick overview of what’s changing:
Transition (Dec 3-5) & System Launch (Dec 8)
- New system goes live: December 8, 2025
- Current system offline: After close of business on December 2
- In-person filing available: December 3–5 at 1100 4th St., S.W.
- No expedited filings during the transition period
All Filings Now Online
- 100% of corporate registration filings can now be completed online — including mergers and conversions

- 24/7 via
Access to Records
- Entity filing history will transfer and be publicly accessible
- All documents previously filed online remain available for download
- No need to re-file anything already submitted
Accounts & Payments
- Use your existing Access DC account
- Manage multiple entities from one login
- Pay online with credit card or e-check and receive instant receipts
