Street and Sidewalk Vending Workshops

The Department of Licensing and Consumer Protection (DLCP) is hosting a Monthly Street and Sidewalk Vending Workshop Series in partnership with the Mayor’s Office of Community Affairs.

 

The Street and Sidewalk Vending Workshop Series is part of DLCP’S efforts to support Mayor Bowser’s “Come Back Plan” and provides support and technical assistance to vendors and residents interested in street vending in the District of Columbia. The Street and Sidewalk Vending Series includes presentations on topics such as Sidewalk Vending applications and Renewals, Application Timelines, Associated Fees, Location Selection, and additional support from DLCP.  Participating agency partners include:

 

During the Street and Sidewalk Vending Series, DLCP and partner agencies will provide translation and interpretation in American Sign Language (ASL) as well as Spanish, French, Chinese, Korean, Amharic, and Vietnamese.
